PS. whenever I use the word 'maverick' I always think of Sarah Palin. Is it too name-drop-py to say I met her once? She had painted toenails with little pictures - you know the serious-effort ones like palm trees etc? Mmmhmmm...it was very very strange.

Glamping vs Camping.
My dears, do you like camping?
I absolutely love it. And have been many times since I was a wee tot - by many times I mean approx two or three times a year for most of my life.
My experience has certainly not been glamourous and I wouldn't have it any other way. That said, there's nothing fun about your tent falling in during a storm or realising you're floating on a couple of inches of water in the middle of the night.
Lately there has been a rise in 'glamping' which seems to be pretty much taking your whole bedroom with you and just setting it up in a tent.
I'd like to think there's a happy medium like these swoon-worthy pics show of Artemis and Nao's adventures. These days I like to style my tent and have some little luxuries but there will be no hot water bottles or full beds in any tent of mine anytime soon.
What do you think? Glamping? Or camping?

Favourite dinner.
Instead of pairing them with a lovely homemade relish I love to have them with *small voice* packet tomato sauce.
I KNOW! Wrong. Yet so so right.
I had them last night. Mmmmm....

Emma Louise.
This song has been stuck in my head constantly as the sync for new series The Slap on Australia's ABC TV. The second episode airs tonight of course, have you been watching?
Gorgeous track. I love her hair!

Colours of the Wind.
This past weekend I hosted 16 dear guests at my family's paradise farm, Georges Reserve, for a special dinner party to celebrate the theme 'Colours of the Wind.'
I can't decide what aspect I loved the most! The welcome cocktail, the outdoor cinema showing Dances with Wolves on the eve before the shindig or my headdress...
Pics to come my lovelies, pics to come.

Samantha Robinson.
Samantha has attracted much attention including that of US indie megastore, Anthropologie. And, excitingly, she has recently opened a store in Double Bay which is now on the top of my list for my next Sydney visit.
I remember discovering her stall at Sydney's Paddington Markets many years ago...such a glorious stumble.
